I’m a freelance writer, specializing in financial, art and design, travel, and religious topics. I am also a lecturer in the Honors Program at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

Until 2005, I wrote for various Bloomberg magazines, including Bloomberg Markets, Bloomberg Personal Finance (now closed), and Bloomberg Wealth Manager (now owned by Highline Media). I continue to write for Wealth Manager. My work has also appeared in Schwab’s On Investing, Fidelity Plus, and Fidelity Focus magazines, Marriott Alumni Magazine, and Zions Community magazine, as well as on BankRate.com. I have also written for The Phoenix, Morgan Stanley and HNW.

Though I live in Utah—and love it here—my heart is in Wyoming, especially the Bighorn Basin, God’s gift to those who love a never-ending horizon punctuated by the distant blue outline of Absaroka and Bighorn Mountains. My wife Janet took the photo of Heart Mountain that graces my home page and the northwest corner of the Basin.
